RetroNetZero RS&IN
Join the RetroNetZero team for an update on the Regulatory Science and Innovation Network project.
RetroNetZero RSIN is an Innovate UK funded network exploring the regulatory challenges to the deployment of innovative products and systems in domestic net zero retrofit. Regulatory science is at the heart of the project: ensuring the use of scientific methods to assess the safety, quality, and efficacy of products, as well as supporting the development of new tools, standards and guidance to help make regulatory decisions.
Hear about progress on the Network’s latest challenges that have been investigated, and recent publications, including:
- How to procure for better health outcomes while delivering net zero retrofit – guide for procurement teams.
- Policy and regulatory landscape review for retrofit innovation.
- Guide on the regulatory framework for placing construction products on the market in Great Britain.
- Field trial guide and tool to support SAP Appendix Q applicants.
- Report on consumer protection, regulation and barriers in heat pump retrofit.
- Commercial retrofit briefing, including shared challenges between sectors.
This is also an opportunity to help shape the Network’s future activities; tell us where new or continuing regulatory challenges persist for innovations in retrofit where the Network may be able to support.
