Demand Led Innovation Scoping Study – Construction Products and Industry workshop

Constructing Excellence and colleagues from BRE Group have been commissioned to carry out a scoping study and stakeholder engagement to accelerate carbon reduction. We are keen to get, through a focused industry workshop, the input of construction industry customers for products and services that impact the carbon agenda of the foundation industries (cement, concrete, steel etc).

This workshop will bring together a group of built environment stakeholders to explore the actions and innovation needed to decarbonise foundation industry products and materials used in the built environment. The workshop will input into UKRI’s £250 million foundation industries challenge programme and help shape future interventions. We will be looking at a range of products including concrete, glass, metals and masonry products and exploring what is needed to unlock future demand and investment.
